Privacy & Cookie Policy

Last updated: 12 October 2026

This policy explains what SaaS Metrics Calculators does and does not collect, how advertising works on this site, and what you can do to control it. The short version: the calculators run entirely in your browser and we do not collect the numbers you enter — but third-party advertising does use cookies.

1. Information we collect

Calculator inputs. Every calculator on this site runs entirely in your web browser. The numbers you type are never transmitted to our servers and are never stored by us. Closing or refreshing the page discards them permanently.

No account, no signup. This site has no registration, no login and no user accounts. We do not ask for, and do not hold, your name, email address or any other directly identifying information.

Server logs and analytics. Like essentially all websites, our hosting provider may automatically record standard technical information when a page is requested — IP address, browser type, referring page and timestamp — for security and operational purposes. This data is aggregate in nature and is not used to identify individuals.

2. Cookies

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website you visit. This site does not set any cookies of its own for tracking or profiling. However, third-party advertising vendors do set cookies, as described below.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies will not affect the calculators, which need no cookies to function — it will only affect advertising personalisation. Note that blocking all cookies may affect how advertising is displayed but not the accuracy of any calculation.

3. Third-party advertising and Google AdSense

This site is supported by advertising, and we use third-party advertising companies to serve ads. These companies may use information about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services that may be of interest to you.

Google and the DoubleClick DART cookie. Google is one of the third-party vendors that serves advertising on this site. Google’s use of advertising cookies — including the DoubleClick DART cookie — enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

Third-party vendors and ad networks, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info or www.youronlinechoices.com. Opting out does not mean you will stop seeing ads; it means the ads you see will not be personalised based on your browsing history.

For more information about how Google uses data when you use partner sites, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

4. Advertising vendors outside the European Economic Area

Some third-party vendors may operate outside your jurisdiction, including in the United States. Where required by applicable law, we and our advertising partners obtain consent before setting non-essential cookies, and we apply the consent signals our partners require. You can withdraw or change consent at any time via your browser cookie settings or the opt-out links above.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under data protection law — including the right to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Because we do not collect personal data through this site, in most cases we hold nothing about you to act on. Requests relating to data held by advertising vendors should be directed to those vendors directly, as we have no access to it.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or a jurisdiction with comparable legislation, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information. Advertising cookies that operate across sites may constitute “sharing” under the CCPA; you can opt out using the links in section 3, or by enabling a Global Privacy Control signal in your browser.

6. Children’s privacy

This site is intended for business and professional use and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to a third-party advertiser through this site, please contact us and we will assist.

7. Data security and retention

Because calculator inputs never leave your browser, there is no stored calculation data to secure or retain. Any technical server logs are retained only as long as necessary for security and operational purposes, and are then deleted.

8. External links

This site links to external websites, including vendor opt-out pages and reference sources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites, and we encourage you to read their policies.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or the law. When we do, the “last updated” date at the top of this page changes. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
